Revolving
fund is a corpus fund for the
benefit of insured persons who undergo speciality/ super
speciality treatment by the
Insured Persons /family under the
scheme. The fund is at the
disposal of Regional Director, ESIC Chennai.
As
and when administrative sanctions for medical reimbursement of
expenses on speciality/ super speciality treatment are accorded
in individual cases by the Director of Medical Services (upto
Rs.75000/-) or the State Govt. (above Rs. 75000/- ) as the case
may be, the payment will be made by the Regional Director, ESIC,
Chennai from out of the Revolving fund at his
disposal.
Revolving
fund will be utilised for making payments in respect of the
following claims. |
Now,
the scope of the revolving fund has extended to cover
certain other expenditures incurred under the scheme like
expenditure on drugs and dressing, dietary articles, linen and
liveries and equipments and to all items directly relating to
medical care of IPs and their families.
